Next America’s partner, Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) is hosting an outstanding line-up of senior-level speakers this weekend and you are invited. Young professionals and students are invited to join discussion groups on a wide variety of foreign policy topics ranging from NATO expansion, to microfinance, to Africa & Defense. Space in each track is limited so you will have the opportunity to directly engage senior decision makers.

Generational Challenge: Repower America

Today former Vice President Al Gore, issued a “generational challenge to repower America,” calling for the United States to commit to producing “100 percent of our electricity from renewable energy and truly clean carbon-free sources within 10 years.”   Vice President Gore urged that energy is the common thread running throughout all major challenges facing the United States today, including the state of our economy and national security.
